Dear TNY,

“Nettle”.  Fuck.

I just can’t, man.  I just fucking can’t. 

Pro:  It was short for your magazine.  I appreciate that.

Con:  Everything.  Everything about it besides the length was a con.

It is insane how such irrelevance sustains a readership.  And that speaks to the quality of reader that is the populous these days.  So the natural conclusion, unfortunately, is that somehow I must be wrong.  I know that’s where you want me to conclude.  But, I will not because it is not accurate.

Sigh.
